The 50th Annual Meeting of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation was hosted by the Oregon Chapter and held in the Astoria, OR area where the Corps spent four month in the winter of 1805-1806.
With the theme, “Arrival at the Pacific,” the agenda featured field trips to significant locations including Fort Clatsop and a wide array of presentations including those by representatives of the Chinook and Clatsop/Chehalem Indian Tribes. Noteworthy memories also included an authentic salmon feast hosted by the Chinook Tribe
